Our Jersey Activewear: Why it’s the Best Choice

Our jersey activewear is made from fibres derived from wood pulp, is easy to care for, and is soft and breathable. If you are deciding whether jersey is the right choice for exercise, read on.

What is jersey?

Jersey is a type of knitted fabric, which can be made from a number of materials, natural or synthetic. Our jersey activewear, including our Yoga Trousers, Leggings and Ribbed Scoop Neck Tank, is made from TENCEL™ Lyocell or TENCEL™ Modal, some with a small percentage of elastane for stretch and comfort.

Why choose jersey for activewear?

Lyocell and modal are both breathable fabrics made from cellulose fibres. They absorb moisture and release it again, which helps them feel comfortable when you are working up a sweat. The fabrics are soft and smooth, so there is little friction against the body when you move.

Will I look good in jersey activewear?

Comfort helps confidence. The smooth fibres give a soft touch and drape well on the body, so you can look and feel good whether you are in the studio or out for a walk.
